A multi-modal historical journey through the innovation, design and engineering of British Airships and the crash of the R101 in October 1930.
Inspired by N S Norway’s adventures and auto-fiction about the R100 and R101, our project is an experiential adventure through engineering and the politics of Britain at the end of empire. Expanded cinema include MR experiences, immersive galleries, AR audio trails, experimental films and real-world game play.
